Q. Can I lose my salvation?

A. Salvation is a gift freely given apart from any human effort. It does not depend on our performance or on a certain amount of obedience for it to be permanent in our life.

John 10:27-30: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall anyone pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one.”

I John.5:10: “He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. V.11: And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12: He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 13: These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”

Q. Do I have to get baptized in order to be saved?

A. No. You must simply believe in Jesus and accept Him as your Saviour. Baptism is the first step of obedience to show God you love Him.

John 3:18: “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

John 5:24: …“He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”

Q. Is there any sin that would keep me from getting saved?

A. There is only one sin God will not forgive, and that is blasphemy against the Holy Ghost.

That is when someone understands that Jesus died and rose again to pay for their sins and they absolutely refuse to accept it.

Matthew 12:31: “Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.”

Luke 5:32: “I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

Acts 16:31: “And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”

John 3:36: “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”

John 20:31: “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”

I Corinthians 6:9-11: “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?
